Women's Day
International Women’s Day
"A Women brings us on this earth, she nurtures us day and night
She makes us what we are today, the patience to listen,
The willingness to understand, the power to care, a heart that can share,
She makes a place worth Living, and transforms it into a home,
She is a daughter, she is an Adorable Mother
She is a sister, she is a wife, and she is indeed the pillar of the society on whose shoulder there is the onus to take forward the existence of mankind in a smoother way".
Woman is a beautiful Creation of God!
International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th of March every year. This year IWD is on Friday. This day is celebrated to empower women; and emphasizes about girl child education, eradication of dowry culture and reservation of seats for women. When God has made us the same; He didn’t discriminate between women and men; for instance both have same color of blood, two eyes, two hands, two legs, a mind to think etc. Then why we humans discriminate between men and women. Almighty God Kabir Saheb never discriminates between the two genders because in times of trouble, He is only one who can help both (women and men) anywhere, anytime.
Kabir Saheb said:
|| Kabir Naam japte kaniya bhali, saakt bhala na puth, cheri ke gal galthna, jame dudh na muth ||
It states that a devout daughter is better than a boy, and boy without devotion is like buck (male goat) that has an extra muscle hanging from its neck which is useless, as it neither has milk nor urine.

History of Women’s Day
International Women’s Day is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regards to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, culture, economic or political. *International Women’s Day first emerged from the activities of labor movements at the turn of the 20th century in North America and across Europe. The UN & its technical agencies have promoted the participation of women as equal partners with men in achieving sustainable development, peace, security, and full respect for human rights .The empowerment of women continues to be a central feature of the UN’s efforts to address social, economic and political challenges across the globe.
Since those early years, International Women’s Day has assumed a new global dimension for women in developed and developing countries alike. The charter of the United Nations, signed in 1945, was the first International agreement to affirm the principle of equality between women and men. Since then, the UN has helped create a historic legacy of internationally-agreed strategies, standards, programmes and goals to advance the status of worldwide.
Sant Rampalji Maharaj’s teaching:
|| Par Nari ko dekhiye bhen beti ke bhav khe kabir kaam naash ka yahi sahaj upaye||
It states that when you see a woman, you should look upon her as sister or daughter. This only will keep lust away.
|| Satguru sharan me aane se aayi blaa aur Jye mastak me suli ho vo kate me tal ja ||
It states that when we come under the asylum of true spiritual teacher who can change our destiny, if we are going to die than it can be averted in the form of a small accident. Evidence from holy Rigveda, Mandal 10, sukt 161 verse 2 and 5, states that for the Supreme Divine, bringing a soul back from the dead is a child ‘s play.
In our society people abort the girl fetuses because to get her married lot of money is needed for giving a dowry. A poor and middle class family may not able to give their daughter dowry; that’s why they kill their girl child, the moment she is born.
After coming in the asylum of Supreme God Kabir Saheb, he solved this problem stating that a match is made by Almighty God Kabir. Also, dowry will not be needed if the parents put their daughter in the refuge of true Almighty; Kabir Saheb. God will fulfill all her needs and avert all the troubles she may be destined for.
|| Kahe Kabir Aur sab Dukhiya, ek Sant sukhi man jiti ho ||
When we are worshiping supreme God Kabir sahib than any kind of crisis can be averted by God. The disciples of Saint Rampal ji Maharaj conduct the weddings in a simple way, in a peaceful manner and dowry free.
Meerabai; A great devotee.
Meerabai was a saint from Bhakti movement .Bhakti movement took place during the 14th to 16th century. That period witnessed many great saints like Guru Nanak ji, Guru Ravidas ji, Meerabai, Ramananda, and Namdev ji . Meerabai was devotee of god, despite facing criticism and hostility from her own family. Meerabai was present around the beginning of the 16th century. She belonged to a Royal family of Mewar (Kurki, district Pali, Jodhpur, state Rajasthan) and was a princess of Jodhpur. Since her childhood, she started to undertake worshiping. While singing Devotional bhajans, she would frequently lose awareness of the world, entering into states of ecstasy and trance. At an early age Meera’s father arranged for her to be married to Prince Bhoj Raj, who was the eldest son of Rana Sanga of Chittor. After a couple of months of the wedding, Prince Bhoj Raj passed away. Her In-laws family did not approve of her piety and devotion; they restricted her movement and sought to make her life as uncomfortable as possible. But she had too much love for her God and sacrificed everything, even her family, and attained (Moksha) salvation through Bhakti Yug. There is story of one respected spiritual Master, who refused to speak to Meerabai because she was a “ WOMAN ”. Meerabai replied there was only one real Almighty God; everyone is children of Almighty God. On hearing this, the spiritual Master accepted the wisdom of Meerabai. Her Spiritual teacher was a saint Ravidas.
